This community land in the care of the trust is a former China clay tip with many a happy memory of community events, pathways, tree plantings and biodiversity surveys having happened. With all the uncertainty in the world we are now looking to develop the site for community resilience in exercise, local food, carbon, biodiversity and renewable energy. Lets Grow this Space

The backdrop is an artist impressionsof a plan for community growing and social space with exercise pathway for all abilities on your community greenspace known as 5 Acres. We are seeking funding from the Community Levelling Up Programme and need the community to support. The structure will house a community shop with locally sourced produce and refreshments. There will be sheltered space for families and growers to enjoy being here whatever the weather. We are asking for a multiuse pathway to improve the path and continue around the perimeter. We will pay a lot of attention to enjoyment, water, biodiversity and regeneration of this China-clay tip site. There is also a plan for e-cargo trike with battery gardening tools to bring the services out into the community. This is an amazing opportunity to transform this community space into something fully accessible for all to benefit from,
